From today (August 1) louts who throw litter on the streets of North Lincolnshire are liable to on-the-spot fines of £50.
If the fines ae not paid within 10 days they will be increased to £80.
Failure to pay after that could result in a fine of up to £1,000 in the courts.
The fixed penalty notices will be issued by 10 new-style community wardens who start patrolling the streets tomorrow (August 1).
