A new veterinary centre opened this week in the Scunthorpe town centre.
The £50,000 conversion of a former bric-a-brac shop in Doncaster Road is an investment by the Market Rasen-based firm of Rase VS Limited.
Scunthorpe is the tenth centre to be opened in Lincolnshire by the firm which was created after the Second World War and is now run by vet Noreen Chapman.
Rase general manager Alex Graham said initially the new branch would operate with a four-strong staff.
