A sculpture which has been put together like a jigsaw is on display at the 2021 Visual Arts Centre.
Artist Peter Mountain has put together a life sized United States army tank in an exhibition which is called The Deconstruction and Reconstruction of an Army Tank'.
The sculpture took 120 man hours to put together.

The sculpture will be officially open on Saturday, August 20 and will be on display until April 2017.

Underwater teams to help search for missing man
UNDERWATER teams are set to join the search for a missing North Lincolnshire man today (Wednesday, August 17).

Scunthorpe has failed to gain a place in a league table of the happiest places to live in Great Britain because not enough of the townsfolk responded to a survey.
The annual study by the on-line property website Rightmove listed 206 towns and cities with Leigh-on-Sea in Essex as the top choice after 24,000 people were asked to rank 12 factors about their locality.

A MURDER probe was called off when it was discovered that a former Scunthorpe steelworker inflicted fatal knife wounds on himself, an inquest heard.
John Smith, 69, was found dead outside the doorway of his home in Carnforth Crescent, Grimsby, shortly before 6.30am on May 25 last year.

18-year-old found dead in park is named as inquest opens
IT HAS been confirmed that the body discovered in a town park was that of an 18-year-old man.
An inquest has now been opened into the death of Macauley Traynor-North, who was 18.
